Linda Ewing is a highly experienced nonprofit executive with proven expertise in all aspects of organizational leadership. She has a track record of success in creating cultures that embrace change and a demonstrated ability to build strong coalitions, alliances and partnerships. Linda has the ability to develop monetary and human resources to support significant growth, and has substantial hands-on experience in strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, public relations, community relations, executive search, finance and operational management.
Linda built a successful 20-year executive career in nonprofit organizations, beginning with a senior management position with the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce. She subsequently led Special Olympics Minnesota for 15 years as Chief Executive Officer, during which time she tripled the number of registered athletes and coaches; doubled staff; quadrupled the volunteer base and increased fundraising from $1 million to $4 million annually.
Based on her nonprofit executive leadership experience, Linda entered the nonprofit consulting sector in 2006 as a Senior Partner with Cincinnatus, Inc., a Twin-Cities-based nonprofit consulting firm. During her tenure with Cincinnatus, she led major strategic transformation, planning, interim leadership and executive recruitment projects for more than 45 diverse nonprofit clients, a number of which resulted in repeat assignments. Linda’s strong client and Board relationships led her to accept three long-term interim leadership positions, two of which resulted in full-time CEO engagements.
